Quotes we've actually processed
These are real quotes and offers that passed through Tukk Reviews while matching homeowners with local pros. Because the sample is still small, we show every individual point — no averages, no ranges dressed up as statistics.
Deep clean — 4-bed house
Brampton · October 31, 2026
CA$290 flat quote
- What happened
- Countered at CA$250. The homeowner then chose a different arrangement at CA$30/hr with their own supplies. The job closed on November 3 when the homeowner declined the provider's held price.
- Read it as
- A quoted price — not the final amount paid.
Travel surcharge — same deep-clean job
Brampton · October 28, 2026
+CA$180 travel surcharge
- What happened
- An alternate cleaner quoted a CA$180 travel add-on on top of the job price because of the distance. The homeowner did not accept it.
- Read it as
- Distance is part of the price. Two quotes for the same job can differ by hundreds of dollars on travel alone.
Snow clearing — residential, seasonal
Mississauga (Clarkson) · November 3–4, 2026
CA$200 per visit
- What happened
- Quoted by an insured provider who passed our qualification checks. The homeowner gave a conditional yes on November 4.
- Read it as
- A quoted price from a qualified provider — final terms confirmed at booking.
Small clean — under 2 hours
Calgary · November 4–5, 2026
CA$50 flat, firm
- What happened
- This is a firm maximum set by the homeowner — not a provider's quote. Provider matching was in progress at publication.
- Read it as
- Included as a reference point only — a homeowner-set maximum, not a provider quote. The index is Canada-wide; points are always labelled with their city.
Market-ask snapshot — what pros list, not what we processed
Separate from the quotes above: asking prices observed in GTA listings when Tukk Reviews launched. These are market-asks, not processed quotes, and are shown for context only.
Cleaning — general
GTA · October 19, 2026
~CA$25 per hour, typical ask
Bin cleaning
GTA · October 19, 2026
CA$30–60 per job
Contract cleaning
GTA · October 19, 2026
CA$18–23 per hour
What moves the price
Patterns already visible in this small first sample — the same factors will show up in your quotes.
Travel distance
A provider outside your area may add a travel surcharge — one quote above added CA$180. Nearby pros usually quote tighter.
House size & scope
A 4-bed deep clean is a different job from a 2-hour small clean. Size, rooms, and condition drive the flat quotes.
Supplies included or not
One homeowner switched to CA$30/hr using their own supplies instead of a flat quote. Who supplies products changes the math.
How this index works
- Real quotes only. Every point comes from a quote or offer that actually passed through Tukk Reviews operations — never scraped listicles, never invented.
- What's recorded: the service, the city/area at neighbourhood level, the quoted price, the pricing unit (flat, per visit, or per hour), the date, and the outcome (accepted, declined, countered, or pending) when known.
- Anonymized, always. No names, no addresses, no identifiable job details. Ever.
- Quoted vs paid is labelled. Sample size (n) and the date range are always shown beside the data. With fewer than 5 points in a group, we show the individual points — never a fake "average."
- Kept current. Points older than 12 months retire from the headline data. The index is republished monthly with a changelog.
